TIRANA, Jan. 19 – Artan Didi, Albania’s police head, met with his Italian counterpart Fulvio Della Rocca Monday to discuss intensifying bilateral cooperation in the fight against organized crime. They also discussed joint operations held so far and other work on extradition of fugitives, air monitoring to prevent cultivation of narcotic plants and the like.
“It was precisely this cooperation and rapid exchange of information between the two sides of police that led to dismantling of some criminal groups of drug traffic during 2014,” said Della Rocca, who praised the significance of relations between the two police.
