TIRANA, May 2 – Police continue fighting drug trafficking as a main topic of their daily agenda.
During the last days in capital Tirana police held two separate operations to bloc significant amount of drugs and arrests some persons. The Kredit and Pub codenamed operations managed to seize 1.5 kilogram of cannabis sativa and 100 grams of heroin and put two persons under arrest accusing them of distributing drugs.
Police have also started investigation of three persons who were found with small amount of cannabis sativa and hashish. Three teenagers were arrested and caught with small amount of drugs packaged in small amounts and found near schools.
