KORCA, April 6 – Police in the southeastern city of Korca say they have busted a criminal network that made large amounts of money allegedly assisting to people who needed to get Greek visas.
Police said it had arrested on Monday a representative of a Roma community association and started investigation on two other women.
The network allegedly charged each person who wanted to get a Greek visa between 1,500 and 2,000 euros.
The move follows last month’s accusation from the Greek consulate in the same city that a representative of the Greek organization OMONIA, was also trying to commit a similar fraud.
