SOFIA, Jan. 6 – Bulgarian customs officials have seized 47 kilograms of heroin on the border with Macedonia, hidden in a car traveling from Turkey to Albania. The car was stopped at the southwestern Gyueshevo border checkpoint, with the heroin found in 80 packages wrapped in oilskin and powdered over with strong-smelling spices to trick customs dogs.
