TIRANA, May. 8 – On Sunday, the Albanian art community lost the well-known painter, art professor and scene designer Ilia Xhokaxhi. He was one of the most professional artists actively involved in designing scenery for many Albanian movies, operas, modern ballet and other artistic performances. His own work was displayed in several national and international exhibitions in Italy, Slovenia, USA, Hungary and France. He designed the lighthouse symbol for the city of Tirana and contributed to the education of young students through his commitment in the arts academy.
