TIRANA, Jan. 24 – Police found a cache of weapons at a house after three men belonging to the same family had tried to kill two persons over a property dispute. Brothers Mislim and Beqir Roshi beat Mirash Daku and injured Agim Daku. Police found at Roshi’s family home two Kalashnikov rifles, two pistols, rounds of bullets, and other weapons. Police also arrested Roshi’s father Arif. In another similar case police declared wanted Shkelqim Gjana for trying to kill Izet Zajmi in Tirana. Zajmi was injured but is not in a life threatening situation.
Fidai Muhaj, 43, and Hajrie Cepi (Hoxha), 31, both residents in Tirana, were arrested at hotel “Kodra” near “Deka” plant at the highway because of exploiting two women for prostitution.
Two Albanian men, Sokol Dukaj and Paulin Aliaj were arrested trying to leave via Mother Teresa international airport with false documents. They wanted to go first to Hungary and then to the United States.
Alfred Toskaj, 33, was arrested after he had been previously sentenced to eight years imprisonment when he had tried to kill another person in Tirana. He had thrown a hand grenade and injured two other persons. Three persons, Isuf, Sajmir and Lavdosh Tuma were arrested in Tirana after they had injured with knives two persons over a property dispute. In another case Andi Nako, 18, injured three other teenagers with a knife. Pashuk Gjini also attacked with a knife and injured another person in Valias, Tirana. Astrit Vata, 34, was another wanted person arrested Sunday after he had been sentenced to prison term for false documents. A family dispute was the cause of two persons, Alfred Kovaci and Jetmir Kovaci to use an explosive against their opponents, two of whom were slightly injured.
